What happens when the Internet goes down?
Nothing stops. Each device keeps its data and keeps taking payments, orders and printing. Everything syncs automatically when the network is back. With a local relay, your stations even stay connected to each other without Internet.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
No. Bogas POS runs on your Windows computers, your Android tablets and phones, or in a browser, and with most receipt printers: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, network or USB.
Can I take Mobile Money payments?
Yes. MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money are full payment methods, alongside cash, card, bank transfer, cheque and customer tabs. In Cameroon, once your merchant account is linked, the till sends the payment request to the customer's phone, and the customer confirms it with their PIN; the money goes straight to your account. Each channel is reconciled when the day is closed.
Is my data safe?
Every employee has their own code; the owner and managers have a six-digit code. After several wrong passwords or manager codes, further attempts are paused for a few minutes. Every sensitive action is logged, and a device showing the wrong time is flagged. Data travels encrypted between your devices and our servers; it stays yours and you can export it at any time.
Can I follow my business remotely?
Yes. From the online back-office, on your phone or computer, you follow sales, cash and stock for all your locations. Voids, discounts and cash withdrawals are gathered there, and money anomalies are flagged: a receipt that doesn't match its sales or payments, a payment with no sale.

Which languages and currencies?
English, French, Spanish or Portuguese: the language is chosen on each device, and receipts print in that language. Quotes and invoices in French, Spanish and Portuguese also give the amount in words. The CFA franc (XAF, XOF) is supported like any other currency, with the settings of 14 countries in Central and West Africa: tax IDs on receipts, VAT, payroll.
